As well as broadening Catherine’s musical tastes, Andrew has helped build and populate our website. He also writes noir/crime fiction.
Andrew has always loved music from his early teens, but listens rather than plays. Catherine introduced him to classical music and jazz back in the day. In return, he took her to see Joe Strummer, The Fall, Mott The Hoople, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marianne Faithful, the Rolling Stones, Steve Earle, the Waterboys, the Drive By Truckers, Nick Cave, Maria Mckee, Cowboy Junkies, Lucinda Williams & Ian Hunter.
Most memorable music moment? Mott the Hoople reforming in 2009 and playing a warm-up show in Monmouth. Lead singer Ian Hunter was 70 at the time, but looked 50! Music keeps you young and healthy.
